Utility Upgrade Partners was established and founded by Erik Villarreal on August 20, 2024, with a mission to support the Rio Grande Valley community and beyond by helping businesses and residents reduce their utility costs, especially electricity across Texas.

Since opening, we’ve helped hundreds of customers save thousands of dollars on their electricity and internet bills, while also assisting qualifying customers with free mobile service through the Lifeline program.

Our goal is to continue expanding as a call center so we can reach more people, educate them on their utility options, and help lower their monthly bills.

Utility Upgrade Partners works with multiple providers to help reduce the cost of electricity and internet for both families and businesses. We also help connect eligible customers to free wireless service through the Lifeline program, giving access to essential communication at no cost.
